Dana is the Assistant Director of Housing at ULM. She is a Monroe native and proud graduate of ULM with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is the mother to two daughters, Annabeth and Isabella.

With 6 years of experience in Residential Life, Dana is passionate about creating supportive, vibrant communities for students. When she's not helping students find their home away from home or advocating for staff as President of the Staff Senate, you can find her singing & playing the piano, hiking, kayaking down the bayou, or enjoying a great cup of coffee.

Dana is an active member of the Louisiana Association of Housing Officers, currently serving as Secretary, and the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers, where she has previously served on the Program Committee & as Assessment Co-Chair.

My name is Jennifer Huey, and I am the Office Manager for the Office of Residential Life at ULM. My journey in higher education began in December 2019, and since then, I have taken on multiple roles, including serving as a Staff Senator for the Division of Student Affairs and the LAHO Business Manager. In addition, I am currently pursuing my MPA degree at ULM, further deepening my commitment to higher education and student success.

I have a passion for photography and love to capture nature shots and memories for friends and family. In our downtime, my husband and I love taking our daughter to the park and try to visit local parks or zoos anytime we are out of town.

Andrew is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in residential life and housing and 13 years of experience in higher education and student affairs. His commitment to enriching the student experience is evident through his leadership in creating impactful social and educational programs, expertly managing student conduct, and ensuring institutional standards are met. He has been recognized with several distinctions, such as the ULM SGA Staff Member Award of Excellence and the Rising Student Affairs Professional Award. His active role as a Louisiana Notary Public and Affiliate Coordinator of Keep Louisiana Beautiful emphasizes his commitment to community service. In Andrew’s free time… Who are we kidding? There is no free time! But when he finds a moment, he enjoys traveling with friends, binge-watching marathons, diving into video games, and staying organized. His balance of dedication, expertise, and a dash of humor makes him an inspiring figure in every role he takes on.

Born in upstate New York, Quinneka serves as the Associate Director for Residential Experience at Louisiana State University since 2019. Quinneka has her Masters in College Student Personnel from Canisius College (now Canisius University) and a master’s in leadership in Human Resources and Development from Louisiana State University. In her downtime, she is a first-time mom to two twin boys (1 year), enjoying time with friends, thriller books and true crime shows.

John Collum is the Associate Director for Student Success in University Housing at Southeastern Louisiana University. He has worked in higher education for over seven years and holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in history from Southeastern. John is also a graduate of the University of Louisiana System Management and Leadership Institute. In his free time, John enjoys silly games with his two boys, telling his dog what a good girl she is, and admiring his wife's beauty and grace.

Mackenzie Rau is the Assistant Director of Operations for University Housing at Southeastern Louisiana University. She has over seven years of higher education experience ranging from the new student experience to residential living, and has been recognized as a solution-oriented innovator in her field. Mackenzie is a proud Privateer holding two degrees from the University of New Orleans, most recently completing her Master's in Higher Education Administration in 2019. In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, reading, and spending time outdoors.

Kara started her journey in Higher Education way back in 2011 at Tulane University as a “Student Affairs Associate” (and attended one of the last ERA Conferences) and continued as a Graduate Residence Coordinator at the University of Alabama before making a long stop at the University of Mississippi as a Community Coordinator (and was heavily involved with MAHO). After another stint at Tulane University as Assistant Director for Academic Initiatives, Curriculum, and Assessment, she currently works at Louisiana State University as the Assistant Director for Academic Success. Along the way, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Classical Studies (Tulane) and two Master of Arts degrees in Anthropology (UA) and Higher Education/Student Personnel (UM). As Mary Poppins says, “For every job that must be done there is an element of fun,” and while Kara loves making fun at work, she also loves visiting Walt Disney World, traveling in general, spending time with family, and decorating for the holidays.
